ABOUT THE CITY OF NORTH VANCOUVER

The city itself has a population of 48,196 people, making it one of the more dense municipalities in the Greater Vancouver region. The median age and household income is 41.2 years and $52,794 respectively, both of which are slightly greater compared to rest of Canada. If is significant to note that the median cost of a dwelling in the city ($599,985) is nearly double than that of the national average. This information suggests that the city is likely home to residents with higher income and greater socioeconomic status when compared to other Canadian cities.

HANEEN ALBAYATI

Haneen is a Health Science student at Simon Fraser University, majoring in population and quantitative health. Post-graduation, she is determinant to work on improving living conditions for people living with HIV/AIDS and mental illness 

THILINI AMARATUNGA

Thilini is a fourth-year Health Science student in the BSc program at Simon Fraser University. She plans to work in the public health field post-graduation, with an emphasis in women's and indigenous health policies.  

Danny is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at Simon Fraser University, studying under the population and quantitative health stream. He hopes to work as an environmental public health professional post-graduation.
